Welcome Letter

Welcome to the start of the 2025-2026 academic year!

We hope you had your share of summer fun! Student Health Services (SHS) looks forward to supporting you and your health needs throughout the 2025-2026 academic year.

SHS kicks off for the Fall Semester on August 18, 2025. To schedule an appointment for all of your health needs, including physical and immunizations, please sign into My Health Portal or call (909) 621-8222.

You can upload any medical records directly to your Online health portal here. Please contact shsrecords@claremont.edu with any questions.

SHS will hold our Annual First-Year Move-In Immunization Clinic on Saturday, August 16th from 9a to 1p. Please call (909) 621-8222 or webbook for an appointment. Appointments will also be available throughout move-in week for all students during our regular clinic hours.

SHS is excited to be joining many campus orientation events over the next several weeks. We look forward to meeting you and your families.

Health Alert – Measles

Measles is one of the most contagious diseases caused by an airborne virus and lives in the nose and throat of an infected person. It can rapidly spread to the rest of the body, including the lungs, brain, and other organs. Being fully vaccinated is the best way to prevent getting and spreading measles. The MMR (measles-mumps-rubella) vaccine is safe and more than 95% effective in preventing the disease. Know your vaccination status and get vaccinated if you have not received 2 doses.

Unsure of your vaccination status? Get a titer test at StudentHealth Services (SHS) to check your immunity. This is a simple blood test and can be performed at SHS or through your primary care physician. Call (909) 621-8222 to schedule your titer test at SHS today.
