The staff of Monsour Counseling and Psychological Services consists of psychologists, marriage and family therapists, psychiatrists, post-doctoral fellows, and administrative staff who are committed to providing excellent mental health and psychological wellness services to the 5 undergraduate colleges of The Claremont Colleges.

MCAPS is happy to be doing a bibliotherapy group this semester! We will be reading as a group, The Body is Not an Apology, The Power of Radical Self-Love by Sonya Taylor. Each week we will read a chapter and review together as a group to discuss our reflections and process the themes of the book.

Grief Support

We welcome any 5C student dealing with the loss of a loved one to join this group. In this group, Dr. Emily Hauck provides a caring space to explore the grief process and connect with others also experiencing loss.

This is an open-ended series geared towards incoming Freshman students. Navigating your fist year may be exciting yet daunting, but you are not alone. This group will be a space where students can have the opportunity to better understand themselves as they are adjusting to a new space.
