Vanessa H. Aguirre, Vice President of Finance/Treasurer, joined The Claremont Colleges Services (TCCS) in May 2016 as an Assistant Controller serving both Harvey Mudd College and TCCS for over four years.  In 2018, she assumed the role of Director for Budget and Analytics, which included oversight of the TCCS budget, internal metrics, monthly financial reporting to Senior Management and strategic efforts surrounding consortial funding, financial projections and project modeling.  Vanessa currently directs all financial, human resource and benefits services of TCCS and select facility operations, risk management and insurance divisions.

Vanessa was previously an Audit Manager for a regional CPA firm where she provided audit and consulting services for not-for-profit, manufacturing and construction clients.  Prior to her ten-year public accounting tenure, Vanessa held financial positions with electrical engineering and general contracting firms.

Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Psychology from Scripps College and she is a certified public accountant and certified fraud examiner.  She has served on several professional boards including the Inland Empire Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Inland Empire Construction Finance Manager Association and Alumnae committees for Scripps College.
