Protestant Community

Every Wednesday, from 6-7:30pm, the Protestant interfaith chaplaincy hosts a simple vegetarian/vegan meal that is open to students of all faiths and no faith at all. We will discuss topics like health, meaning, and how to live well now through a Christian interfaith framework, allowing conversations to develop organically over a shared meal.

As for Mondays, I’m going to do these the first Monday of the month only this semester. If students like the event, I’ll expand in the Spring. Thus, these will be held on October 3, November 7, and December 5:

Podcast and pizza is our monthly event, taking place on the first Monday of the month from 12-1:15pm, where we dive into interesting and provocative topics over pizza, considering how faith intersects with things like science, politics, identity, healthcare, and justice. Regardless of your religious background, you are welcome to attend and participate!

Jewish Community

Each week, the Jewish community at the Claremont Colleges gathers for casual, student-led Shabbat evening services and a home-cooked Shabbat dinner to relax and recharge. Everyone is welcome, and we hope you will join us to celebrate Shabbat with Jewish prayer, rituals, food, and community connections.

Catholic Community

Catholics gather for Mass every Sunday at either 10:30 a.m. or 4:00 p.m.  Mass is also celebrated on Holy Days of Obligation.  Check online for the correct date and time.
