Central Facilities Services

Central Facilities Services (CFS) provides comprehensive facilities maintenance and construction services for The Claremont Colleges. CFS ensures a safe, clean, and comfortable campus environment by managing and maintaining all university physical infrastructure, including buildings and grounds. The team works closely with other campus departments and organizations to support critical campus operations and events. CFS is committed to providing exceptional customer service and responding promptly to maintenance issues.

Manages the day-to-day business activities of the department including the work order management system.

Facilities System Administrator | Email
Responsible for the management of the Work control System (Azzier). Oversees the administrative operation of the CFS supply, including inventory of all maintenance stock.

Maintains air temperature and quality inside buildings, performs maintenance and repair of air conditioning equipment and maintenance and repair of refrigeration and ice machines.

Develops and maintains software solutions and user interface for the building automation systems. Performs energy information systems management and data analysis.

Carpenter and Key Shop Supervisor | Email
Carpenter Shop: Provides light construction services that include installation and repair of walls, floors, ceilings and doors.
Key Shop: Responsible for the maintenance of locks, hardware, issuance of keys and electronic card reader access for member campuses.

Provides electrical repair and maintenance of all power supplied to all member campuses, including tenant improvement and new construction.

Maintains the campus electrical distribution system provided from the electrical substation through either underground conduit or overhead cabling.

Low Voltage Supervisor. Provide low voltage electrical support for electrical systems at 120 volts and below for all member campuses.

Provides a broad range of services to member campuses including event services and support, welding and fabrication, fleet maintenance and grounds.
