Effective immediately, rapid antigen tests are now exclusively accessible through a SHS Lab Visit. Schedule a Lab Visit via My Health Portal or call SHS at 909-621-8222. Dear 7C Community, I wanted to share with you that effective Monday, March 13, 2023, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LACDPH) has updated its isolation and close contact guidance. Accordingly, we are also updating some of our campus procedures. Dear 7C Students, While we have remained hopeful that COVID-19 would continue to recede, unfortunately as you are likely aware, we are in the midst of another surge with the rapid spread of COVID-19 due primarily to the Omicron variant. The Omicron variant of COVID-19 is highly transmissible, and we expect to see cases and transmission on campus. Dear 7C students, Earlier today, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration amended the emergency use authorizations (EUA) for both the Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines authorizing use of a single booster dose for all individuals 18 years of age and older after completion of primary vaccination with any FDA-authorized or approved COVID-19 vaccine. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices also universally endorsed these Pfizer and Moderna booster doses for all individuals 18 years of age and older.
