With over 18 years of dedicated service to The Claremont Colleges, Desiree brings deep institutional knowledge and a strong understanding of our campus community’s unique culture, needs, and mission. Having risen through every level within the department, Desiree has gained firsthand insight into the evolving landscape of higher education safety and the complexities of serving a diverse, multi-campus environment. Her long-standing presence within the consortium has positioned her as both a trusted resource and an insider—someone who values collaboration, understands our shared challenges, and is committed to collective progress.

As Acting Director, Desiree is honored to continue the important work of those before her while proactively addressing new realities in campus safety. This includes strengthening partnerships, advancing equitable practices, and leading with transparency, accountability, and a people-first approach. Desiree remains deeply committed to the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and faculty across all seven institutions.
