Black Alternabreak: Oakland/San Francisco
OBSA's annual collaborative service learning trip in Oakland and San Francisco, California. 10 participants including 2 coordinators and Draper staff participate in a series of activities with local nonprofits, activist organizations and businesses to understand the impact of urbanization, gentrification and diversity, equity, inclusion and justice work. Alternabreak participants apply and are accepted in fall, and then participate in a series of organizational meetings leading up to the experience.
