OBSA Bungalow 139 E. 7th street, Claremont, CA

Ziona King is a visual artist working primarily in painting and drawing/illustration. Informed by her Christian faith, her practice explores theological themes of love, joy, and freedom as a means of inspiring transformation and imagination within broader cultural contexts. Drawing from African American genre painting and prophetic Christian art, she centers testimonial and contemplative imagery that create space for reflection, storytelling, and memory. Join us as we view and celebrate her work on display in the OBSA bungalow starting May 5 through May 17.  Hors d'oeuvres and mocktails served!
