OBSA Celebration of Excellence
Office of Black Student Affairs Celebration of Excellence Friday, May 15, 2026 Pomona College Seaver Theater (300 E. Bonita Avenue, Claremont) 11am-2pm OBSA's annual seven college celebration of graduating classes in all degree programs. This year's featured alumni speaker is Dr. Cleopatre Thelus. Dr. Thelus obtained her Master's degree in Applied Social Psychology and Research Methods and Ph.D. in Applied Social Psychology from CGU in 2022. She is a professor of Psychology at Lone Star College in Houston, TX. Following the keynote and graduate student acknowledgments, the event closes with a community lunch in the Seaver complex.
