STEPHANIE BLAISDELLVice President of Student Affairs

TCCS is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephanie Blaisdell, Ph.D, as the new Vice President for Student Affairs. Stephanie brings over three decades of experience in higher education, having held influential roles at institutions including SUNY New Paltz, University of Memphis, Arizona State University, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.  She begins with TCCS on January 8, 2024.

In her most recent role at SUNY New Paltz, Stephanie led a team of 130 professionals, focusing on the holistic development and well-being of over 7,000 students. Her expertise spans many areas, including student wellness (health and counseling), residential life, student engagement, and others.

Stephanie is known for her innovative approaches to student success and well-being. She restructured the Division of Student Affairs to align more closely with student needs and learning outcomes. Her initiatives have significantly supported mental health, diversity, and inclusion, and she played a pivotal role in managing COVID-19 on campus.

Her commitment to supporting historically marginalized students is evident in her efforts to create a greater sense of belonging and implement programs that boost student success. With her extensive experience, passion for student success, and unwavering commitment to diversity and inclusion, Stephanie is exceptionally qualified to lead our student affairs initiatives. Her dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment aligns perfectly with her new role overseeing student wellness, interfaith chaplaincy, cultural affinity groups, and student disability services.
