Laura Muna-Landa, Assistant Vice President of Communications & Community Relations for The Claremont Colleges Services joined TCCS in October 2019. She leads the communications team in coordinating intercollegiate communications with the seven colleges’ communications professionals as well as brand development of The Claremont Colleges brand. Prior to joining TCCS, Laura was a communications executive with thirty years of experience in implementing proven and complex communications programs for a variety of government and institutional agencies.

Most recently, Laura was Director of Projects for a communications consultancy leading a team of forty-seven professional and administrative staff in creating innovative and effective communications programs that bridge the gap between agencies and stakeholders and constituents. Laura was instrumental in the firm’s expansion into the use of technology tools including interactive maps, texting survey apps and live public webcasts to maximize the stakeholders’ engagement experience. Laura believes effective communications programs are based on building strong relationships with stakeholders, creating environments where true collaboration takes place while recognizing the importance and difference that creative collateral materials make in both educating and informing audiences.

Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an emphasis in Organizational Behavior and a Master of Arts in Public Administration with a concentration in public finance both from California State University, San Bernardino. She is also certified by the National Development Council as an Economic Development Finance Professional.

Laura has served on the boards of the Claremont Educational Foundation, National Charity League, Augusta Communities, Open Table, and the Youth Accountability Board.
