Are you interested in learning more about the field of GIS (Geographic Information System)?
If so, we invite you to attend a 2-day GIS Certification course, offered FREE of cost!!!
The goal of this training program is to increase representation in GIS and planning in Southern California. This training is for historically underrepresented populations (ex. students of color, women, and those from the LBGTQ community.) The course will teach participants about GIS and basic planning concepts.
Students who complete the 2-day training will receive a certificate with completion seals from GISCI. Participants will also learn more about paid internships and other opportunities within the field.
The training will occur throughout two days:
Friday, February 14th and Saturday, February 15th from 9:00am-4:00pm.
Location: Honnold Library, Poppy (formerly Mudd 3 South)

*SPACE IS LIMITED, only 10 students will be admitted. This is a 2-day commitment so please keep that in mind when you register.
