The strength of TCCS lies in the diversity of our people and in the services we provide. We are committed to providing an environment that values the many differences in identities, experiences, abilities, and thoughts that exist among the members of our community.

We recognize that immigration related concerns can create uncertainty and stress, and we want staff to know that support is available.

California law SB 98, 2025, on immigration enforcement requires college campuses to:

  • Implement and publicize rules about access to personal information and the campus
  • Provide access to certain resources
  • Take certain actions if immigration enforcement is anticipated
  • Notify the campus community of confirmed immigration enforcement on campus
  • Designate a school official responsible for implementing the steps above

While TCCS is not a college campus, we recognize the need to advise and inform staff in the event of the presence of immigration enforcement. 

Steps To Take:

Notify Campus Safety immediately at (909) 607-2000 or Dispatch@claremont.edu if:

  • An immigration officer is expected to enter, will enter, or has entered campus to execute a federal immigration order.
  • Please do not attempt to verify the legality of any warrant, court order, or subpoena yourself.

Employees – If there is a reason to suspect that an employee has been taken into custody because of an immigration enforcement action, TCCS must notify the employee’s emergency contact if the individual has directed TCCS to do so.

Employees may review their emergency contacts at any time in Workday.
