Driver Management

• Authorize employees to drive TCCS owned/leased vehicles.

Ergonomics

• Provide professional-level expertise in evaluation and set up of workstations, in ergonomic office configurations and in recommendation of ergonomics equipment.
• Ergonomics evaluations may be requested by contacting TCCS HR at hr@services.claremont.edu  or by contacting EH&S Department at ehs@claremont.edu
• Ergonomics equipment is approved and purchased by each college.

Consultative Services

• Develops policies and procedures required by regulatory agencies.
• Provides guidance and best practice documents.
• Researches regulatory, legal and best practice requirements for occupational health and safety areas as requested.
• Provides The Claremont Colleges (TCCS) with relevant environmental health and safety alerts and updates.
• Maintains and updates the TCCS Asbestos Report to ensure compliance with Cal OSHSA’s Asbestos Communication of Hazards (§1529 subsection k).
• Provides guidance during inspections from regulatory agencies.
• Coordinates and/or conducts safety audits as requested.
