Outreach for Eating Issues
The Eating Disorder Task Force is a collaborative effort by Monsour Counseling and Psychological Services (MCAPS), Student Health Services (SHS), Health Education Outreach (HEO), Athletics, and the Dean of Student office to provide resources and direct services to students struggling with eating disorders.
The Eating Disorder Task Force is dedicated to educating the campus community and raising awareness about eating disorders.
We are continually involved in training resident advisors, student leaders, athletic trainers and coaches, staff and faculty, and student affairs personnel.
Potential outreach programs include screening days, bringing speakers to campus, activities during Body Image and Eating Disorder Awareness week, poster campaigns, etc. We are committed to hosting or assisting in at least one 5C event every semester.
Upcoming events will be posted as details become available.
