DESCRIPTION:Office of Black Student Affairs Celebration of Excellence\n\nFriday\, May 15\, 2026\nPomona College Seaver Theater (300 E. Bonita Avenue\, Claremont)\n11am-2pm\n\nOBSA’s annual seven college celebration of graduating classes in all degree programs. This year’s featured alumni speaker is Dr. Cleopatre Thelus. Dr. Thelus obtained her Master’s degree in Applied Social Psychology and Research Methods and Ph.D. in Applied Social Psychology from CGU in 2022. She is a professor of Psychology at Lone Star College in Houston\, TX. Following the keynote and graduate student acknowledgments\, the event closes with a community lunch in the Seaver complex. The event is not ticketed and there are no associated costs. \n \nWe offer free kente stoles to all participating graduates. Registration is now open and can be accessed here.\n\nThe form includes all relevant details for graduates including program schedule\, check in process\, parking and guest attendance.
