DESCRIPTION:Join us for an enlightening workshop designed to empower and educate students as we approach the upcoming election. This event will kick off with a captivating lecture by Professor Golub\, a Scripps professor who focuses on American political theory and African American political thought and group conversation facilitated by OBSA fellow Se’maj Griffin (Pomona College\, Sociology & Environmental Analysis). Following the lecture\, we will engage in interactive discussions and activities focused on understanding the electoral process\, identifying what “your” key issues are\, and developing effective voter skills.
